🚨 Day 0 — At the scene / same night

• Collect driver, plate, insurance, witness, officer info. • Take photos (wide + close-up). Don’t argue about fault. • Log officer interaction. File Crash Report Log. • Call insurance: “I was in a crash on [date/time]. Please provide a claim number.”

📞 Day 1 — First calls

• Call lawyer/legal aid if needed (optional). Leave name/date/callback. • Notify employer if work is impacted. • Log symptoms in Medical Log — even if minor. • Store claim #, officer notes, and photos.

⚠️ Day 2 — Organize & follow-up

• Review police/insurance reports. Check for errors. • Call adjuster: “I’m calling about claim [XXXX]. Please confirm next steps and required documents.” • Document the conversation in your Claim Tracker.

📅 Day 3 — Tracking & recovery

• Continue medical tracking: symptoms, visits, receipts. • Save receipts (doctor, tow, rental). • Follow up with adjuster: “I’m following up on claim [XXXX]. Please confirm next steps.” • Upload final reports and claim docs.
